15 Minutes of Hell!


Ah….working out on Montauk beach! Life is beautiful!

OK…enough about that. Lets move on to tonights workout. As you know, I believe in short, efficaint workout sessions that work as much of the body as possible. Well, tonight I was short on time and needed to come up with something rather quickly. Well, I did not dissapoint myself. Here’s what tonights workout was:

Snatch 5 left/5 right with 52 lb Kettlebell

10 Burpees

Repeat for 10 rounds for time.

I finished in about 15 minutes. However, I was dripping with sweat and huffing and puffing when it was over. It looks quite innocent, but make no mistake, it’s pure evil!!

Go ahead and give this workout a try. If you can’t do a full burpee, squat thrusts are acceptable. Use a kettelbell that is fairly challenging for you as well. Your goal is to improve your time each time you try the workout (2 days a week for this one is fine). Have a goal in mind (like 12 or 15 minutes). Once you can do it in your goal time, it’s time to increase the intensity. You can easily do this by using a heavier kettlebell, increasing the rounds, increasing the reps within each round. You have many options to take it up a notch and unleash the Warrior inside!
